demeanor
- being able to negotiate to accomplish results in a way that builds trust
and motivates others
- being able to manage yourself, your tasks and your time effectively

- Distinguish between Time & Task management versus Self-management
- Assess your conflict management styles
- Define and practice principles of interest-based negotiation
- Identify strategies for “win-win” negotiation.
- Learn to build confidence and create motivational environments
- Identify, demonstrate and practice wellness and stress reduction

- Conflict management styles
- Interest based negotiation and positional negotiation
- Time and task management versus self-management

autonomy, mastery and purpose
- Tips for staying motivated
- Personal accountability and time management. Distinguishing between what is
important and what is urgent in order to manage your time effectively
- How to clear your mind to manage commitments: Collect, Process, Organize,
Review, Do
- Assessing your stressors
- Long term and short term strategies to wellness; practicing stress relief
through laughter and meditation
Participants at the Thriving in a Challenging Workplace training workshop are
encouraged to send an email within three months following the training workshop
