You want to know how to create Templates and Style Sheets so you can hand work off and have great results. | Goals Learn all you need to know to work effectively with InDesign CS3. | Audience You'll learn with other designers, graphics artists, marketers, and assistants who’ve got solid but limited InDesign skills and want to improve their results and their productivity. | PreRequisites Connect Learning’s InDesign Fundamentals plus practice or equivalent experience. This class is not for someone who uses InDesign occasionally. | Outline Identify new features of InDesign CS3 that will work for you Design your publications with revisions in mind Build and use templates, master pages, styles, and libraries Learn how to specify typographical settings, including tracking and kerning. Create tabs, hanging indents, and dot leaders Use and modify paragraph, character, and object styles Know when and how to use nested styles Import, link, and manage graphics files Create clipping paths and alpha channel masks Bring items you use repeatedly into the Library Create tables from spreadsheets and format cells, borders, and text Draw with the Bezier pen tool Preflight and Package files for handoff to commercial printers Export documents to PDF Suggested Follow Ups:
