Learn to create what you imagine. In this intensive two-day class, you’ll learn Illustrator techniques that enlarge the scope of your creative work. You’ll learn to polish your work, gain more understanding and control of layers, transparencies, and gradients. This class will teach you how to produce your projects with professional efficiency.
Learn to leverage the new Illustrator CS4 features such as multiple artboards, the Blob Brush tool for intuitive vector painting, and transparency in gradients color stops. This class is not for someone who uses Illustrator occasionally. | Objectives Layers - Create, name, lock, view layers
- Modify, paste, and merge layers
Gradients and Blends - Create a gradient fill
- Use on-object tools to adjust the direction of the gradient blend
- Add colors and in-gradient transparency
- Create and modify color blends
- Make a blend of two or more key objects with blend steps
Brushes - Draw with Art brushes and the new Blob tool
- Edit paths with the Paintbrush tool
- Use Scatter brushes, change options and apply to paths
- Change the color attributes of brushes using Hue Shift colorization
