About Sunil Gupta
Best Selling SAS® Author, CDISC ADaM Reviewer and Global Corporate Trainer
and Invited SAS® Speaker (SAS Customer Advisory Panel, UCSD Extension SAS
Programming Advisory Panel, 1998 Western Users of SAS Software Program Chair)
I have taught SAS classes for and been endorsed by ASA, STATtrak and Center for
Professional Advancement. I have also taught SAS classes at WUSS, NESUG,
PharmaSUG, SAS Global Forum, UCLA and UCSD Extension. In addition, I have been a
mentor for the SAS Global Forum for the past two years.
I also have the honor of being an invited SAS® Speaker at international (SAS
Global Forum), regional (WUSS), special interest (PharmaSUG) and local (LASUG,
SANDS, Hawaii SUG and DCSUG - Bureau of Labor Statistics) SAS® user group
meetings.
I have the unique privilege of wearing two hats.
My SAS® Programming Trainer hat reinforces my passion for transferring my SAS®
knowledge to eager students. I am always amazed how SAS® makes things easy for
me once I fully comprehend SAS's power. At conferences such as NESUG, SESUG and
WUSS, I am happy to assist SAS® Users as a Code Clinician.
My Principal SAS® Programmer/Contractor hat enables me to continue working with
major pharmaceutical companies to test SAS® programs and tools in a real world
production environment to solve critical challenges. This results in more
satisfied and productive SAS® programming teams. Read the feature article,
Practice Makes Perfect, about my successful custom training program for Amgen.
